Qlik: The Data Literacy Movement Singapore

Data literacy is the ability to read, understand, create and communicate data as information. Given that we are producing and consuming massive amounts of data on a daily basis, organisations typically assume that their employees possess this ability. However, in reality this is often not the case.

Qlik wanted to create awareness of the data literacy skills gap among workers and assist organisations in overcoming this issue. And therefore, The Data Literacy Movement was born; spanning research, insight, education, engagement and training.

We combined PR, social and digital to ensure maximum reach of workers and organisations. To make this campaign locally relevant, we aligned it with Singapore’s on-going economic and workforce transformation, focusing on key industries including Information & Communications Technology, Engineering and Professional Services.

“Qlik is on a mission to provide the education, technology, and business strategies that create a data-literate world — where everyone can speak the language of data, and use it with confidence to make discoveries that change the game. Archetype has helped us ignite the data literacy debate in Singapore and across APAC, through which we can help workers and businesses succeed with data and cementing Qlik’s position as pioneer in this space.”
