Delivering success beyond Hong Kong

A startup with nimble competitors, Hong Kong-born logistics startup Pickupp wanted to raise market awareness and attract investors in its home city, as well as Singapore, Malaysia and Taiwan. To do this, the tech-first delivery service turned to Archetype HK for a powerful brand narrative and effective communications strategy.

First, we helped identify SMEs as the key audience, then crafted a compelling narrative with messages for each local market to ensure strong, consistent and localised storytelling across media. Archetype also drove the funding journey with Pickupp. The company raised their series A funding in Nov 2020, followed by the series A+ funding in July 2021 and Series B in Dec 2021. We helped with funding announcements and led the investor liaison processes with regional investors across Hong Kong, Singapore and Taiwan. The announcements achieved strong results, including a Forbes Asia interview with CEO and co-founder Crystal Pang.
